| Phase 3:
Develop creative marketing strategies |
 |
|
Get the word out - Make sure
your new URL/web address is listed on business cards, stationary,
brochures and all advertising. Even the smallest ad or postcard
with a URL listed is an invitation for your audience to learn more
about you, your products and services.
|
 |
Give them a reason to come back
- Develop a monthly online newsletter filled with helpful information,
fun facts or the latest tips and trends. Think about providing free
services or seminars. Your audience will have to visit your site
regularly to find out dates and details. This provides an entry
point for further exploration into your site and services.
|
 |
Sweeten the deal - For a limited
time offer a coupon that can be printed for discounts on products
or services. Once the word gets out your clients will check your
site regularly hoping for future enticements.
|
 |
Keep in touch - Create e-mail
mailing lists that allow you to speak directly to your customers.
Ask for permission to contact them with special offers or updates
on products and services. Be sure to follow through on your end
though. These are possibly your best and most productive clients
so don't disappoint them.
